I've just been watching this gorgeous old Hainbach video while having breakfast: it all looks and sounds beautiful and idyllic and inspiring, and as today is looking fine and warm and cloudless, it's tempting to go out and take some gear with me to make something... but...
Well, I've tried this before and it just never works. Either it's too warm and clammy, or there's a chilly breeze, and the midgies and assorted insects are irritating, and the sun is always in your eyes, and you can't settle in a comfortable seat, and the portable table is unstable and the neighbours are being noisy and the hayfever is acting up and it's all just awkward and uncomfortable so you can't concentrate on your work. Hell, even trying to read outdoors is an exercise in futility, as you've either got the sun glaring off the page, blinding you, or you're sat in such deep shade you may as well be indoors anyway.
Besides, the battery in my laptop is knackered.
Oh well.
