Budd has been over again today for another recording session, which went a bit different as the couple of finished lyrics he had didn't quite fit any of the beats I'd written, so we picked a single-verse song he had and basically made a beat on the spot, with Budd chucking in some arrangement ideas and it's come out canny cool.
I've still got nee idea what direction this project is going in. We have five songs recorded so far and they're all very different in terms of theme - though we did notice a tendency for the protagonist to die at the end of the song. Does that work as a concept...? lol
