Here's a little something I'm doing: there's a music tournament on the Renoise forum called Mutant Breakz #17. The idea is write a song using Renoise around the theme of "Oh The Humanity!", and there's a few additional goals which allow you to pick up a few bonus points too. This is the track I've done for it. Slightly annoyingly, I've just noticed I made a mistake and the Amen break at the end of the track has disappeared - a wee balls up with volume automation. Still, I suppose it's a thematically appropriate blunder. Human, all too human!
Apart from that, what have I been up to? Been to another punk gig (Rot Stewart / Sunk / Claudia / Shan) and was at the Durham Miners Gala again on Saturday just gone. I'm still tinkering with the new EP idea I mentioned last time too, though I suspect the second track is going to have to be re-done more or less from scratch as it just doesn't fit the vibe I had in mind for the lyrics. Anyway, still pottering on as usual.
