I'm a 40-odd year old working class misfit, born and bred in Sunderland in the north-east of England. I do various kinds of art (mostly music and CGI animation) to a generally mediocre standard, all of which I'm trying to collect together here... for posterity and that, I suppose.
Although these days I'm more an inactivist, I also have a past involvement with the anarchist and anti-fascist movements, as well as a number of other leftist causes. I'm sort of involved with the local punk scene through the Serial Bowl Collective and am a regular at gigs. I am, of course, a trade union member (at one point paying dues to three different unions for some mad reason), a former allotment gardener (too time and energy-strapped to keep it going sadly), and enjoy reading - mainly non-fiction, especially history - particularly now I've finally stopped procrastinating and gotten reading glasses.
